Strength

If you are a client, you may have noticed a slight change in the programing lately. You have just walked through the door of a strength cycle. This cycle is supposed to do exactly what you think it will do, make you stronger. In order to make the most of this cycle you will need to do a few things.

1. You need to show up. (I think that’s pretty straight forward. If you have any questions, you can email me on that one)

2. Lift heavy, listen in class, and work hard. (that’s ~3 things, but the main point is once you show up, put in the effort) The more you put into this program the more you will get out of it!

3. Log.

4. Log.

5. Log. Keep track of your progress. If you are not aware of where you are (strength wise), you will not really know if you are progressing.  We are looking for an increase in strength.

The final thing you need to focus on is eating well. You know where we stand in this area, and you know how to do it… So… Keep up the hard work and it will pay off!

Enjoy lifting heavy!

  1. thanks for posting this. it’s always good to understand the “why” behind the “what. i’ll do my best to make my PPs not look like PJs.

  2. Hey J- I happen to love your blog, and am encouraged by it. Wish I lived closer so I could pop in! They just opened a crossfit in our town (which is still 45 minutes away! Ha!) but hey! Getting closer. The kids are doing really well with participating in Buck eating adventures… J fixed today’s lunch: veggies cooked in chicken fat (from last week’s broth), covered in homemade spaghetti sauce. Good boy! Much love to all you Texans~ L.B.
